a Healthy Family Begins with You
Are you looking to start or grow your family?
A Nourishing path to….
Motherhood
The ideal choice if you want a personalized plan that is tailored to your goals and lifestyle if you are planning a pregnancy whether in 3 months or 3 years from now or whether it is your first or last pregnancy.
This path is ideal for women who are looking to optimize their chances of conceiving naturally and are ready to make an investment in their health for the benefit of themselves and that of their future children.
Conscious Parenting
You’ve had a baby! Now what? The postpartum season of a woman’s life can be one of a rollercoaster of emotions (and hormones). Whether you just had your baby and are not quite in love with your postpartum body or your kids are a little bit older and you realize you’ve neglected your self-care, I’m here to remind you that taking care of you means you’ll be able to show up more for those you care for.
Longevity
I believe women should be empowered to have options to be moms or not, and they shouldn’t be scared by what society says around age. Whether you want to have kids or not, I think we can all agree that a good quality of life is one we all want. If we are living longer, we should live those years feeling well and not ill. Helping you to have the energy to enjoy your life’s passion, whatever that might be, is one of my top priorities.
Primary and Secondary Foods
Nourishment is found on and off the plate
Primary Food
Remember when you were a kid and you were playing outside and when your mom called you in for dinner you didn’t want to stop playing or yelled, “I’m not hungry.” This is because your nourishment was being met with primary food, the things that nourish your body off the plate. And this is why my approach to wellness is holistic and doesn’t look at just what you are putting in your body. Primary foods include relationships, spirituality, career, movement, home environment, creativity, and so much more.
Secondary Food
The food that is on your plate is still important though! Not all calories are created equal and the body thrives when we are providing it with mostly whole foods in the forms that closely resemble how they are found in nature. Food is fuel, food is medicine, and food is information! If allergies, illness, or other aversions have complicated your relationship with food, a personalized plan will be right for you. There is no one-size-fits-all diet.
