Resources to Help You on your Healing Journey
An approach to health should be holistic. There are many areas in your life from how you are nourishing your body, to what you are putting on your skin, and the information you seek.
This page includes everything from book suggestions, to supplements, sleep supports, and non-toxic products to help lessen your body’s burden.
Products on this page include affiliate links. Please note there there is never an additional cost to you, and in some cases codes will help you save money. Your choice to use the links here is much appreciated and helps support my small business.
Supplements
Food First is a great approach, but it is much harder to get the nutrients we need from food alone these days with poorer soil health, more time indoors, and increased demand from things like chronic stress. Supplementation can be a great way to build and restore your nutrient stores before conception, during pregnancy, while breastfeeding and beyond.
The supplements shared here are for informational purposes only and not to replace medical advice. Please make sure to consult your medical provider before adding anything new to your routine.

Vitamin D - Make sure to have levels tested before supplementing
Magnesium Lotion - Magnesium is needed for over 300 functions of the body - this is our family’s favorite (safe for everyone including newborns)
Adrenal Cocktail - Vitamin C and Electrolytes for immune support
-
Beef Liver - some past clients have used this as a precursor to a prenatal and then switched to one of the above recommendations in the 3-6 months prior to conception
Collagen - This becomes essential during pregnancy
Epsom Salts - great for supporting detox pathways, magnesium, and relaxation
Trace Minerals - Filtering you water is a great way to reduce your toxic exposure, but if you use Reverse Osmosis or drink distilled water you’ll want to replace remineralize your water
Healthy Home Swaps
We spend a good amount of time in our homes. The air we breath and what we put in and on our body can make a big difference in the home. Making these swaps can take time. Choose one area to start and go slow. Simple changes in these areas can make improvements to your health in as little as 3 days.

Branch Basics - Great multipurpose cleaner. I actually put this on my baby registry knowing I wanted to switch to something non-toxic for baby, but prior to conception is a great time to reduce your toxic burden
Laundry Detergent - We use the unscented.
Fabric Softener Replacement - dryer balls are a great non-toxic alternative -

Things like non-stick pans contain something called Forever Chemicals (PFAS) because they take forever to be broken down in the environment. The are a major contributor to toxic burden and can cause a 40% lower chance of conceiving in their first year of trying with higher levels of PFAS in their blood.
