Letters to my Future Baby
What is this post about?
In my own conception journey, I began journaling by writing letters to my future baby. While some of these I will choose to remain private, I thought every once in a while I would share one with you here. Preconception can be a lonely journey. Many people don’t want to tell even their closest family members that they are hoping to conceive, because there are a lot of what ifs. Personally, I think this is such an exciting time in a couples life and can be enhanced with the right support. That doesn’t have to mean telling the whole world, but finding your circle.
I welcome you into my circle. Feel free to reach out to me if you need someone to talk to during this time in your life. You can reach me through the contact page on this website, by emailing jamie@anourishingpath.com or on instagram @anourishingpath.

Today while I was grazing Lexus. I decided to do a little earthing. I took off my boots and socks and distanced myself from my horse so not to accidentally get stepped on. I felt a calling to connect with the earth. To be more grounded. This week I’ve been more tired than usual. Fatigue is always one of my top symptoms as someone living with autoimmunity so when I feel it I try to tune in to see what my body needs. While I was outside attempting to ground myself, I thought of you. I thought of how I can’t wait to have your grounding presence as part of our family.
But while I wait for that time to come. To hold you physically in my arms. I use this moment to remind myself to keep doing the work. To keep showing up for myself so that I can be the best version of me for those I love and care for. Thank you for the constant reminders that I am doing my best. Love, momma.
